Bell Ringing
We are very grateful to God for those who built St James’ church as a place for the whole village to come together to worship the true and living God.
We are also grateful for those who installed bells in the tower to call the people of Burton to worship the Lord, and to celebrate significant events.

Our new team was formed in January 2018. We practise on Mondays from 7.30pm to 9.00pm and ring for some services, weddings and special events. We welcome anyone who might be interested in ringing, from complete novices to experienced ringers – why not visit one of our practices to see ringing in action?
